Joan M. Lyons joined the firm in 1981, initially to run its title company. She has a background as a paralegal emphasizing wills, estates, matrimonials, bankruptcy, litigation, foreclosures and title issues, as well as business management. Since 1981, she has been committed to professional management of the firm’s practice, facility and technology. Additionally, she conducts special projects for firm founder Leonard I. Ackerman, including serving as his personal assistant.
